A high quality school theater is where I started my graphic art work. The images and posters that follow are samples of my work there. Most of these theater photographs were captured during no-stop, final dress rehearsals. The techniques I developed there in the theater were the techniques that allowed me to photograph the tall grass prairie with all its natural lighting changes.
Consequently for the past seventeen years I have been working at the edges of digital photography. Both theater and prairie require dealing with constantly moving subjects, often in extreme low light situations. Both are ephemeral in that once the season is over, the specific art objects photographed no longer exist.
