This book devoted to grasses is in several way unique: it is the largest book at XXX PAGES to deal exclusively with grasses on the market today; it deals with 33 species of grasses found in the middle latitudes region of the historic tall grass area; each species gets up to six pages of image display (wildflowers get two pages); most species feature an image of that species at full seed (common), and feature an image of that species at bloom (not so common); and finally many of the stages of growth are captured.
